After migrating to Texas was known for his skill in chair making andwas known as "Olive Hobbs, the chair maker".
Olive separated from his first wife, Rosanna, sometime in 1870 and wasunaccounted for for several years. The compiler thinks that he wentto Arkansas where he met the widow Laura Arnold and they were marriedca. 1882. They reappeared back in Wilson Co, in 1890 and were at thatreported to be staying with his daughter Schrinda Walker and herhusband.
